Mai Khôi & the Dissidents

I serve as pianist, composer, and music director for Mai Khôi and the Dissidents, an eclectic jazz-punk band founded by Vietnamese singer-activist Mai Khôi. Our multimedia stage show Bad Activist has been presented over forty times, including performances at Joe’s Pub in NYC, La Fenice in Venice, and a ceremony for the Dutch Royal Family in Middleburg, Netherlands. Our debut album, Five Years in Exile, was released in 2026.
